I’m signing up for the Sherweb Leucan 2026 Challenge with my heart wide open… and probably a coffee in my hand.

Why? Because when it comes to kids, I turn into an emotional marshmallow in slippers. I’m a mom. I know the love packed into school lunches, the tiny notes tucked into backpacks, the too-tight hugs at bedtime.

I also know how fragile and precious our children’s health is. Leucan supports families facing the unthinkable, and while I won’t be out there breaking athletic records (let’s be honest, I’m here for the cause, not the cardio ), I am deeply committed to showing up in the way I can.

Every child deserves softness in the storm. Every parent deserves support when their world tilts. And every small act, when added together, can create real impact. So I’m stepping into this challenge with my very sensitive heart and my very determined spirit, raising funds to help carry families who shouldn’t have to carry so much alone.
